Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

What these terms cover

The Site is an informational website that describes M-Base Technologies (Pty) Ltd, the Meyabase brand, and the products we build. These Terms govern your use of the Site itself.

Our products — including Translate, Contribute, Silosset, Locum, and Tendiflow — are separate services, each operated under its own terms of service and privacy policy on its own website. Links from the Site to those products are provided for convenience and do not place them under these Terms. Your use of any product is governed solely by that product’s own terms.

Permitted use

You may access and use the Site for lawful, personal, and informational purposes only, in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, or that is fraudulent or harmful;
• Access, scrape, harvest, or copy content from the Site by automated means, except as permitted by our robots directives or with our prior written consent;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Site or the servers and networks that host it;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its systems, or related infrastructure;
• Introduce any virus, malware, or other malicious code, or use the Site to transmit such code;
• Use the Site to infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of Meyabase or any third party.

Intellectual property

The Site and all of its content — including the Meyabase name, logos, product names, text, graphics, design, and layout — are owned by or licensed to M-Base Technologies (Pty) Ltd and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site, and you may not use our names or logos, without our prior written permission.

Third-party links and products

The Site contains links to our own products and to third-party websites and services that we do not control. We provide these links for convenience only; their inclusion does not imply our endorsement of, or responsibility for, the linked websites or their content.

We are not responsible for the availability, content, products, or services of any third-party or product website, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of them. Your dealings with any such website are solely between you and the operator of that website.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, whether express or implied, about the Site or its content, including any warranty that the Site will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components.

Any information on the Site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Namibia, M-Base Technologies (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless M-Base Technologies (Pty) Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

Changes to the site and these terms

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Site after any change to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Site, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Namibia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Namibia.
